Our stylists are well-versed in a range of techniques as well as education. Each stylist is very well rounded with areas where they shine in personal excellence.
Crystal McCoy
Owner and Level 5 Stylist
Crystal has a true love for all things hair. She has a wide variety of training under her belt including Certified Redken Colorist, Redken Color Authority, Redken Color Specialist, Certified Pureologist and many other areas of expertise. She is the owner of Beauty Bar Salon and has over 14 years of experience in the industry. While all colors have their place with Crystal, she has a love for blondes and natural tones in the hair. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and sipping on cocktails.
Kristen Steele
Level 4 Stylist
Kristen knew at a young age that she wanted to grow up to become a part of the beauty industry. She became a licensed cosmetologist in 2013 and set off to follow her dreams at Beauty Bar Salon. Within her 7 years of experience, she has taken many classes to continue her education and growth. She has also had the pleasure of playing an active role in helping to maintain the salon’s social media platforms. Although Kristen enjoys the wide variety of options to specialize within the industry, her heart is sought out to become certified in blonding and balayage techniques. When not in the salon, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping at Target and visiting the local coffee shops!
Veronica Campbell
Level 2 Stylist
Veronica graduated from Creative Images Cosmetology School in 2004 while pregnant with her 1st child. Fast forward a few (or more!) years & after enjoying time at home with her 3 children when they were small, & maintaining her practice & license, Veronica was thrilled to jump full time into her love of hair in 2016. She truly finds joy in making others feel their best in every season of life. Whether you are 5 or 95 you should feel beautiful! She joined the Beauty Bar family in June of 2019 and couldn’t be more excited! Veronica loves every aspect of hair especially blonding, balayage & vivid colors as well as updos. She is also looking forward to pursuing further certification as a Redken Specialist. In her “down time” Veronica loves being with her family, the outdoors, listening to & making music, & traveling.
Maria Bond
Level 3 Stylist
After graduating from the University of Dayton, Maria realized that her true love was making people feel beautiful through hair and makeup. As a result, she returned to school to become a licensed cosmetologist and began working for the Beauty Bar in the fall of 2019. Maria loves all things beauty, including hair, makeup, and nails. As a brunette herself, she enjoys working with darker hair to add dimension and shine. In addition to hair and nails, Maria will soon be offering Eyelash Extensions. One of Maria’s passions is helping brides look and feel their best on their special day, and has worked with numerous bridal parties. When she is not at work, you can find her spending time with her family and boyfriend, listening to music, or adventuring outdoors.
Farrah Crews
Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and Nail Technician
Farrah is a 2021 graduate of SHI Integrative Medical Massage School and a 2022 graduate of Cincinnati Institute of Esthetics and Nails. Whether you are just in need of some spa time or pampering, you are seeking preventative care or beauty services, or you need aftercare for an injury she can help you feel your best! She loves for her clients to be able to relax and unwind and is continually learning new modalities to create a true spa experience!
